Personal Experience
Stephen Bourdeau was born and raised on a farm, developed a strong foundation in business and work ethics from a young age. Growing up in New England, he quickly learned the value of hard work and entrepreneurship.
After completing high school, Stephen pursued further education at a technical college, where he gained practical skills and knowledge relevant to his entrepreneurial ambitions. At the young age of 22, he took the bold step of starting his first business, demonstrating his initiative and determination.
Over the next 12 years, Stephen successfully managed multiple businesses, honing his leadership and management abilities. This hands-on experience provided him with invaluable insights into various aspects of running enterprises.
Seeking new challenges and opportunities for growth, Stephen transitioned to a role at a prominent engine manufacturer (Rolls Royce), where he and his family moved to Alabama so he could embark on a new corporate career. Through dedication and hard work, he steadily climbed the corporate ladder, concurrently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Colorado Technical University.
Stephen thrived in the corporate environment, leveraging his expertise to make significant impacts within the company. He seized opportunities to work with international businesses, where he played a pivotal role in transforming and optimizing various business units.
In a defining career move, Stephen was recruited by a private equity firm to lead the transformation of a multi-business unit manufacturing company. Here, he applied his strategic vision and operational prowess to drive growth and profitability across diverse sectors.
Throughout his career journey, Stephen has exemplified resilience, innovation, and a relentless drive for excellence. He continues to inspire and empower others with his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to organizational success.
Currently, Stephen applies his experience and knowledge as the President of OnPointe Business Group. With Stephen in the left seat, he and his team handle a broad range of businesses, with a focus on main street and small businesses in Alabama and throughout the United States.
